Seconds Kings: it’s a lot like First Kings, only even more depressing.
Monarch after monarch ignore the advice of the prophets and get it wrong over and over until King Josiah finally starts getting it right. His reward? To die before seeing his people punished for all the things that happened before he came along.
In the end the Kingdom of Israel is destroyed, foreigners are resettled in Samaria, the Kingdom of Judah is in exile, and Jerusalem is destroyed.
