Largely Unique

The Gospel of John is largely unique because John himself was so unique. He’s the only one of the original twelve disciples that lived a full life and wasn’t martyred. And much of what he wrote came from his experience of living with Jesus and then investing in a new generation of people who were trying to live into that same message.

He was so drawn to the majestic vision of who Jesus was but also so helpful in helping people access the incarnation qualities of who God was as he came in the flesh in the person of Jesus.

  1. What do you remember about the Gospel of John?
  2. How would you describe “the majestic vision of Jesus?”
