A Messenger Is Coming - Thirty Seconds or Less

In the Christian Bible, Malachi is the last of of the prophets and the final book of the First Testament.

For years and years and years the People of God hoped for the temple to finally bring the ideal kingdom. The temple has been rebuilt but there are still lots of problems. There is still poverty, a foreign ruler, drought, and poor harvests and locusts. They feel frustrated. They feel abandoned. Slowly their worship becomes halfhearted at best. What have we believed in, they wonder?

And when they thought they were forgotten, God answered back: a messenger is coming, restoration is happening.
