All From Adam

The book of Romans in thirty seconds or less:

It has been the call of God for humanity to live integrated, open, and free from the earliest Israelite culture through the time of Jesus right to today. This call has always been global, all encompassing and particular and local.

The letter to the Romans is a tale of a family of humanity. This particular chapter reminding us that we’re all part of the story of God, some from the line of David, some from Moses, some from Abraham, but all from Adam. And through God’s kindness and gentleness we are members of a family of the new humanity through the new Adam: Jesus.

  1. From your experience, what does it mean to live “integrated, open, and free?”
  2. What does it mean to you to be a member of a family of the new humanity?
